Who ate my RAYS?

I guess a few photos are due of the damage.

Could have been a lot worse me thinks!

Still I guess a bang on the wheel like that will mean that I should check some other things like the wheel bearings perhaps? No noise as it is right now and the car drives perfectly, so will have to see what is under there.

Check wheel bearings, control arms, sway bar and links ...

And check and fix the wheel.
I found i had a slight indentation on the inside of my left rear wheel.
Was corrected by a local guy for $75.

Will the moron pay for it?

Good suggestions. Will probably go for a new wheel over a repair as its not a part that I'd like to have fail. I'll be paying for this unfortunately but that is the way things go.

So unfair! I feel for you tom.

I will also spin the wheel. I crashed last time and the wheel actually bent at the hub end. I fear the wheel metal strength has gone after the repair so I ordered a new one instead. If it has not done that then you can just repair the superficial damage and use it again.

The Sine ira san said are what you have to check. It is pretty obvious and I guess the Mazda's toe arm is the weakest link and if you have anything wrong. You will feel it after the impact. So I guess they will be ok. Yeah but put tweety on the hoist and have a look.

Sorry to hear that again.
